The Salt Lake Communitcations Center provides communications services for all state agencies in Salt Lake and Utah Counties.
The Salt Lake Communications Center has an active 9-1-1 awareness program. 9-1-1 for Kids introduces children ages 4-7 to Red E. Fox, the newest 9-1-1 superhero. Red E Fox teaches children how and when to call 9-1-1 and what to say and do when a dispatcher answers the call. Presentations include a video and lecture by dispatchers of the Salt Lake Communications Center and are available to any elementary school in the Salt Lake area.
