If you have misplaced your Utah driver license, you will need to visit a licensing office to obtain a duplicate license and complete the following:
- Have photo taken at the Driver License Division;
- Complete an application, (fill out our online application and print ahead of time);
- Present documents required;
- Pay the applicable fee
If your license was an out-of-state driver license you will need to visit our "I am new to Utah and need a Driver License page."
After all requirements for a license have been successfully completed, you will receive a temporary photo license on the same day. The completed license will then be mailed to you in approximately three weeks.
