2014 EMPG -- Guidance and applications now available!

This grant is available to all counties, cities, tribes and colleges and universities who have an emergency management program and a paid part-time or full-time emergency manager. The grant provides financial assistance and technical expertise in establishing, maintaining and enhancing an effective emergency management program at the local level.

UPDATE 12/10/14: EMPG FY 2014 Project Progress Report is now available

UPDATE: Regarding the Performance Standard Three: Professional Development portion of the 2014 EMPG application -- specifically what courses (Independent Study vs classroom) will meet the "minimum of 2 emergency management courses" requirement.

Updated training information is forthcoming and will be sent to emergency managers once it's received in our office. In the meantime, please continue moving forward with your training goals. Any questions regarding training and accepted courses, please contact Tara.
