Fireworks Safety
The following Restrictions were issued in 2012 and are in effect until July 1, 2013 unless passed by local authority ordinance. The State Forester has the authority to issue restrictions in unincorporated areas within counties.
Alpine Restrictions - No ignition of fireworks allowed within city limits. Due to the nature of the Quail Fire in Alpine City it is requested that residents in Alpine refrain from lighting fireworks until further notice. All resources are currently being used to fight the Quail Fire.
Alta – The fire ban issued by the Utah State Forester encompasses all land within the Town of Alta. The Town has endorsed and adopted these restrictions and considers these restrictions a join order issued by the State Forester and the Town of Alta. Bluffdale – Bluffdale City Fire Chief has banned all fireworks in the following locations:
-All areas East of Redwood Road/Camp Williams Road
-Any area within 100 feet of dry fields/vegetation.
Bountiful Map – By City ordinance and Fire Chief proclamation, fireworks in Bountiful are entirely banned in an expanded area, now including all areas east of Orchard Drive and east of 400 East (north of 500 South).

Bryce Canyon City Restrictions – No private fireworks are allowed on Ruby’s Inn property or within Bryce Canyon City Limits.

Cedar Hills Restrictions – No ignition of fireworks in the following areas: East of Canyon Road (SR146). Garden City Restrictions
Garland – Garland City has not implemented fireworks restrictions based on the number of areas that have burn potential. The fire department is not issuing any burn permits.
Genola –
Genola has restricted all fireworks in city limits.
Grantsville Restrictions
Green River – There are to be no fireworks done in the city. The only place it will be allowed is at our shooting park on July 4th, before or after our City Fireworks program. We have decided as Mayor and City Council that the shooting park area does not pose a fire risk. The whole area around is extremely sparse of flammable material.

Helper Ordinance
Henefer – Henefer Town, Utah has canceled their fireworks display for the 4th of July due to Extreme Fire Danger. The Council has also banned all fireworks, and open fires within city limits. A resolution was passed on June 28, for as long as the fire danger is high.
Highland Restrictions – Due to the nature of the Quail Fire in Alpine City it is requested that residents in Highland refrain from lighting fireworks until further notice. All resources are currently being used to fight the Quail Fire.

Leamington – There is a ban on all aerial fireworks. All other fireworks use is restricted to the local baseball park while that area is protected by the fire chief on July 4, 2012. Restrictions will be reviewed by Leamington Town Board at the regularly scheduled meeting July 5th.

Naples Ordinance
Nephi – Nephi City has postponed its 4th of July community fireworks show and
will reschedule when conditions are conducive to a safe show. Nephi City also asks residents to exercise extreme caution with
personal and family celebrations and to not discharge any fireworks
within one block of an open field or other areas containing dry weeds
or brush or within one block of the drainage channel called the Hollow.
Nibley – In Nibley City, fireworks use is restricted in all areas east of Hollow Road.

Panguitch – On Tuesday July, 26,2012 the Panguitch Fire Department and City Council banned personal fireworks for the 2012 season.
Paradise – No fireworks east of 100 East and No fireworks west of 300 West.
Paragonah - Fire danger is extremely high. Please help to prevent fires. NO FIRES of any type in or around Paragonah allowed. ALL FIREWORKS HAVE BEEN BANNED until further notice.

Salem – The City Council has prohibited fireworks north of 400 North.

Torrey – Under the Direction of the Torrey Town Fire Chief, The Mayor and Town Council, Torrey Town is banning all use of fireworks and incendiary devices within the Torrey Town limits due to high fire danger.
