UHP Highlights - April 24, 2008
Top Hands Competition:
Troopers from the Utah Highway Patrol Vehicle Safety Section participated in the “Top Hands” truck inspection training and competition. Two troopers took second and third place overall. There were approximately 70 participants from different agencies.
Interdiction:
Troopers seized approximately 180 pounds of marijuana during two different traffic stops last week. Utah Highway Patrol police dogs assisted during both incidents.
DUI Squad:
The DUI Squad made 14 DUI related arrests last week.
