Over the holiday weekend, Troopers with the Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) noted the following stats during the enforcement period between Friday, December 30, 2016 to Monday, January 2, 2017:
Vehicle Stops: 2,816
Speed Contacts: 1,804
Occupant Restraint (seat belts) Contacts: 274
DUI arrests: 36
Other Alcohol: 26
Crashes Handled: 395
Fatalities: 0
